Consultations at Profile Hair Design are always complimentary. Please speak to the reception team to schedule a free 15 minute consultation with one of our expert stylists.
How to choose a stylist
If you are new to our salon, please read our team Bios and view our stylists work on Instagram to learn about their expertise. You can also tell our receptionist about your hair when making a booking. She will appoint the stylist that’s perfect for you.
Skin testing
It is vital that all clients have a skin test at least 24 hours before any colour treatment is undertaken, even if you have had colour before prior to your visit. Colour formulations and ingredients can change over time, and we are required to follow the guidelines of the product manufacturer, for the safety and well-being of our guests. It is rare for an adverse reaction to occur, but it can be severe enough to cause hospitalisation when it does occur. This is a risk we are not willing to take.
What products do you use?
All our professional products have been chosen because they produce beautiful results. For example, we use the L’Oréal colour range because of it’s versatility which enables us to customise the colour outcome and leave our clients with vibrant shiny hair. Our product ranges also include Kevin Murphy, Kérastase, Davines, and Morrocoan Oil.
Appointment bookings
Most of our clients book their next one or two appointments when they leave the salon. This ensures that you always get the stylist you want at the time which best suits you. Dates can be changed if necessary. You may book via phone, or using our convenient online booking system. Please be aware that any bookings made via the the Profile Hair Design website are not confirmed unless the reception team have spoken with you directly or you have received a text confirmation.
Text confirmation
Technology willing, you will receive a text message 24-48 hrs prior to your booking confirming your appointment (or a call at busy times).

Monday: Closed
Tuesday to Saturday: 9.00 - 6.00
Sunday: Closed
Appointments can sometimes be accommodated outside standard opening hours. Contact reception for details.
Profile Hair Design Treat Card
Our Treat Card is our way of showing our appreciation for your custom, by rewarding you every time you spend in the salon. For each €1 spent, you earn one point. Points are redeemable on luxurious “Treats” which are new services or treatments which you can add to your in-salon service at no cost. Ask at reception for details when booking. Points are non-transferable.
Gowning Procedure
We do not take responsibility for any items of clothing damaged during the technical or colouring process. Please dress accordingly. We advise clients to remove all valuable or high-necked items of clothing, earrings and glasses before their service commences.
Freedom to Switch policy
Clients can feel free to try out or move between whichever stylist they wish, whenever they wish. Many of our clients regularly see more than one of our team! If you want to try another stylist as a one-off, or longer term - we encourage you to do so. We have a range of individually skilled stylists for just this reason!
Private appointments
At the time of booking, please inform reception as to whether you require our private room facility. Private appointments, group bookings, early or late openings are all available upon request.
Gift Cards
Profile Hair Design Gift Cards are non-returnable, non-refundable and non-transferable and cannot be extended. All Gift Cards are valid for 6 months. Please inform reception of any cards you wish to use at the time of booking your appointment.
Cancellation policy
We understand that sometimes schedules can change, and you may need to reschedule or cancel an appointment you’ve already made. If you do need to cancel an appointment, we appreciate 24 hours’ notice of cancellation.
Lateness
Arriving late creates challenges for the salon, as it can impact other clients. If you are running late for a scheduled appointment, please notify us as early as possible, so that we can try to minimise the impact to you and others.
Delivery of products
We offer a flat rate delivery charge to anywhere in Ireland of €4.99. We also offer a FREE click and collect service where your ordered items can be collected from our salon.
Personal belongings & valuables
We cannot be responsible for any personal items brought into the salon. Items with you during services, or left in our cloakroom are left entirely at the owner’s risk.
Salon etiquette
We respectfully request that mobiles are on silent mode so as not to disturb other clients who are relaxing during their service. Your stylist cannot work on you while you are on the phone, so please keep calls to a minimum.
