Is this the return of big hair? Moshino presented a parade of candy and pastel coloured poufs down the runway. In some ways you could say a modern take on the the style of Marie Antoinette. Pastel toned blondes are definitely going to be making an appearance again! You can never be tired of a pastel palette.
On the other hand Prada was stripping it right back and eliminating layers. Inspired by the concept of “computer generated hair” the result was a layer free , swooped back ultra blunt cut ! We absolutely love this look. Is this your look this autumn.
Pucci are definitely not shy of painting when it comes to accessorising. Painting doesn’t stop at makeup this show was all about 90's inspired hair painting. Their beautiful neon leaf and block print hair graphics stole this show!
At Fendi it was all about updo's, the more intricate the better! We are definitely getting everything Star Wars from this show, an array of weaving, pinning, pleated loaves and cinnamon buns strutted the runway. An over load of shimmer and shine was on the cards for this show. Hair artist Julien d’Ys layered glitter upon glitter on lacquered hair creating s futuristic wet look. Who doesn’t love some sparkle?
Models at the MSGM show took inspiration from the 20's and 30's, only with a slight twist. They walked the runway with finger waves only this time they were slightly looser, a bit shaken out and over all more laid back. This new take on this century finger waves is definitely going to take off!
This seasons hair game is definitely one to keep on top of! So many new and old techniques to experiment with.
